The pallid peaks of the Dolomites around Sesto – Sexten are the scenery of the 13th Suedtirol Three Peaks Alpine Run on 12th September 2010 at 10 o’clock. The track is about 17,5 km long with 1.350 m of difference in altitude.
It starts at the valley station of the Monte Elmo in Sesto and arrives to the “Talschluß – hut” at the end of the Fischleintal / Val Fiscalina passing through green larch woods. After that, the run goes up to the “Zsigmondy – hut” and the “Büllelejoch – hut” at 2.575 m and ends in front of the famous Three Peaks.
The event begins already on Saturday with the final stage of the “Goretex Transalpine Run” and the traditional “Mini Three Peaks run”. A special Expo-Area, where a lot of producers present their sport products and a barbecue party will frame this important event.
