Moonlight tobogganingThe five kilometres long toboggan run of the Croda Rossa  / Rotwand in Sesto / Sexten, guarantees a lot of fun not only during the day, but also at night, when the moon is shining down from the dark sky. The lift of the skiing area Croda Rossa is opened every Thursday from 8 to 10 o’clock pm, till the 31st March 2011 and invites to pass a wonderful evening in the middle of the nature. Don’t worry if you forget your toboggan or your front torch at home: you have the possibility to hire them from 7.30 pm at the valley station. And, what are you waiting for?

Dolomiti Nordicski – Europe’s largest Nordic skiing carousel

Dolomit Nordic SkiDolomiti Nordicski means: 1,300 km of cross country ski trails, guaranteed snow from December and trails around in the fantastic world of the Dolomites, to mention only a few plus factors of Dolomiti Nordicski.

Not only the Alta Pusteria Valley is part of this skiing carousel but also the regions of Alta Badia, Valle Anterselva, Val Casies, Tirolo Orientale in Austria, Comelico/Sappada, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Auronzo-Misurina-Lorenzago, Valli di Tures and Aurina, Alpe di Siusi, Val Gardena and PelmoSkiCivetta. The Alta Pusteria Valley with the villages of Sesto, San Candido, Dobbiaco, Villabassa and Braies features connected cross-country tracks of 200 km in total and offers snow guarantee on the main cross-country track from Sesto to Braies.

Climbing in the Dolomites of Sesto
